Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, store and protect personal data, under the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Portuguese Law no. 58/2019.
1. Data controller

2. What data we collect
Data you provide voluntarily through the contact form: name, e-mail address, subject and the content of your message.
Technical data collected in aggregate when you accept measurement cookies: pages visited, visit duration, device type and browser language. We do not build individual profiles.
We do not collect special categories of data, we never ask for payment details, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Answering messages sent through the form — basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Measuring website use in aggregate — basis: consent given in the cookie notice.
Complying with legal obligations applicable to publishing — basis: legal obligation.
4. Retention periods
Contact messages: 24 months after the last interaction, unless retention is required to defend a legal right.
Cookie consent records: 6 months.
Aggregate measurement data: 13 months.
5. Processors and transfers
We use a hosting provider and an e-mail provider, both with servers in the European Union and bound by a processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. We do not sell personal data and we do not transfer it outside the European Economic Area without adequate safeguards.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Exercise them at privacidade@figarocasinoreview.com; we respond within 30 days at most.
You may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD.
7. Security
The website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to messages received is limited to the newsroom members who need it. We do not install software on the user’s device and we do not initiate automatic file downloads.
8. Minors
This website is intended for people aged 18 or over. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we delete it immediately.
